There still is an unresolved issue in Gerrit when using the SAML plugin which leads to wrongly encoded names of users (in Gerrit itself and even in the git history) we have to roll back and disable Single Sign On. The former login method via LDAP will be reactivated.
As soon as the issue has been resolved upstream, Single Sign On will be re-enabled for Gerrit.
